The Aegean sea North of the bigger Mediterranean sea lies between the coasts of Greece and Turkey. The island groups known as the Dodecanese, Cyclades and Sporades are all located in the Aegean Sea. Athens and the Saronic gulfs are located in the NW corner.
There is a predominant wind from North to South through the centre of the Aegean Sea which can blow strongly through the Cycades islands

HOW TO GET THERE
Fly direct to Athens airport. Flight time from UK approximately 3.5 hours.
Ferries or hydrofoils will transport you to the Greek islands.
