BODRUM
Bodrum overlooks the Aegean Sea and is protected by it’s medieval fortress, Bodrum Castle. Setting sail from here expect stronger winds than elsewhere in the Turquoise coast.
An up market resort Bodrum has many international shops sitting alongside it’s fascinating covered bazaar.
Bodrum is a good starting place for exploring the gulfs of Gokova and Hisaronu also Cleopatra’s Island to the South and North to Yalikavak and Didum. Sailing west will bring you to the closer Greek islands of Leros, Kalimnos and Kos.
Setting sail from here expect stronger winds than further south on the Turquoise coast.

Marmaris Bay is host to four marinas, all with charter yachts:
Netsel Marina – in the town centre
Adaköy Marina – on the national park in the centre of the bay.
Yat Marin – On the isthmus next to the national park
Albatross – Just outside the town.
20 minutes drive away (50 miles by sea) is Orhaniye in the Gulf of Hisaronu, where there are more charter yachts.

Fly into Bodrum Milas Airport which is approximately 30 km from Bodrum town.
